OGDEN - John Kent Allen, 61, passed away Monday, February 16, 2004 at his home from heart failure.
He was born August 15, 1942 in Ogden to John and Fae (Smuin) Allen. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1960, and then served in the U.S. Air Force from 1960 to 1964. He married Karon Jentsch on February 22, 1964 in New Braunfels, Texas.
John retired from Defense Depot Ogden in 1992.
John and Karon loved to travel, he especially enjoyed planning and going on their trips to Hawaii. He loved the outdoors, and spending time at their mountain cabin, which he built.
Surviving are his wife Karon Allen, Ogden; sister-in-law, brother-in-law and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He will be missed by his many friends, and his buddies at Wangsgards.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a sister Joann Combe.
Graveside services were held on Friday, February 20, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Ogden City Cemetery, 20th and Madison.
