He married Karen Farr, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben W. Farr of Harrisville on the 26th of August 1966 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple.
Lennis and Karen had three children; Neil, Andrew and Holly.
He was survived by his wife, children, mother and two brothers Dallas and Gayland Niesen Archibald.
