Raymond Edwin Asay, 19, of 1675 Binford, was killed Monday (Mar 18, 1963) in an automobile accident in Evanston.
He was born Oct. 7, 1943, in Seattle, Wash., a son of Lawrence Edwin and Lucy Elizabeth (Beth) Hill Asay. The family came to Ogden in 1944.
He was a priest in the Forty-third Ward. He was a graduate of Ogden High School and was attending Weber College.
He had been employed part time at B & B Clothes Shop and recently completed six months with the Marine Corps Reserve.
Surviving are his mother of Ogden, his sisters, Mrs. Jack (Jane Ann) Donaldson, Provo, and Mary Jo Asay, Eugene, Ore., a grandmother, Mrs. Emma Robins, Pleasant Grove, Utah.
Funeral services were held in Lindquist and Sons Colonial Chapel with Bishop O. Marvin Lewis of the Forty-third Ward officiating.
