OGDEN - George Philip Moore, 60, our dear son and companion, was ill for a long period of time and died Friday, January 23, 2004 at McKay-Dee Hospital.
He was born May 31, 1943 in Ogden, a son of Willie F. and Betty Stewart Moore. He attended Pingree Elementary, Lewis Junior High and Ogden High School where he was an excellent sportsman and played half-back on the Ogden High State Championship Team in 1961.
He was married to Candace Slocum and later divorced. He then married Chris Moore and they later divorced.
George had worked for Larry H. Miller Car Dealership in Salt Lake City.
He leaves to mourn his passing his seven children, Kevin, Maria, Angelo, Brandon, Courtney, Jordan and Keisha, eight grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
Also mourning his loss are his parents, his very special companion, Cynthia Lucas and her family, one sister, Carol Scott, and one niece, Cara Robinson and a host of other family and friends.
Memorial services were held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary.
Internment by Lindquist's Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch.
