Wayne K. Suttlemyre

Wayne Kenneth Suttlemyre passed away on July 2, 2011 at the George E. Wahlen Veterans Home surrounded by family, devoted caretakers and dear friends who had kept vigil as Wayne struggled with cancer.

He was born May 30, 1942 in Ogden to Clyde Barry and Ethel Morse Suttlemyre, the youngest of four brothers. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints; he attended Ogden High School.

He was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad and served in the Korean Conflict with the Army. He loved his country, his family and his friends and was ready to defend all of them at any time.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father, Clyde. He is survived by his mother, Ethel of Ogden; his son, Jason of Bountiful and his brothers, Gary (Bobbi) of Monticello, Larry (Marilyn) of Ogden and Jack (Sharon) of Exeter, California.
