The first memories that came to my mind is that Carol went tho Washington Elem. & Jr. High with us.

Carol loved Sports and had a great jump shot when playing outdoor Basketball.  She excelled in playing Softball.

She was up-beat, & friendly.

Seems to me she had an older brother named Max Ewing, that enjoyed sports as well.

RIP Carol

I too remember Carol from Washington Elementary amd Jr High.  She was always nice and always the first girl picked for baseball or dodgeball teams.  She will never be forgotten in my mind...

I remember Carol loviing ELVIS!  Does anyone remember the assembly @ Washington Jr High when she impersonated him singing

" You Ain't Nothing But A Hound Dog" and Heartbreak Hotel"?  She was great and we all went nuts!

I do remember Carol's Elvis. She was actually the real deal! All my momories of Carol are sweet and warm and bring a smile to my face.... forever. I hope she realized how loved she was.

Cathie, I doubt she did unless you have had ongoing contact with her after you finished your education. Barbara, Dick, and Dina are all people I admired but I doubt they know it. I have had ongoing contact with Barbara and you and suspect both of you are more aware. We all got busy with life and were spread across the country. I think the lunches the "lady diamond" has arranged are a great idea (although I have not been able to attend yet) and a enjoyable way to reunite with "old" friends. I hope to see all of you soon.

I was in communication with her Brother Max, and Max did verify Carol had

passed away.    Carol was always into sports and so funny.   I was sorry to

learn last week she had passed away in 2012, and none of us knew of her

passing.   I know the passing was a shock to almost all of us that did not know.

I remember, when her and Judy Kearns were alway mistaken for sisters, and

they were best of friends.

I was saddened to hear of Carol's Passing.  I've been trying to find her for several years.  Carol was one of my best friends in school.  She is the Godmother (in absentia) to my oldest daughter,  Gina Ann.  I last saw Carol in 1966, she was there for my 2nd daughter's birth.  I think of her often and she will be missed..Lita
