LAYTON -- Diane O. Watkins passed away at home early Sunday morning, August 17, 2003.
She was born on February 25, 1943 in Reno, Nevada, the oldest of three daughters born to Harold C. and Dorothy W. Olsen. Shortly after Diane"s birth they moved to Ogden.
Diane attended Ogden City Schools, graduating from Ogden High in 1961.
She married Bill Wiseman and was later divorced, from this marriage came a special son, Brandon Leigh Wiseman. She married Joe Mellow and was later divorced. On May 14, 1993 Diane married Baker Watkins, in Layton.
Diane retired from Hill Air Force Base in March of 2003, completing 26 years of Federal Service.
Through her years Diane made many wonderful friendships, and will be greatly missed. She will be especially missed by her loving family.
Diane is survived by her husband, of Layton; sisters, Marlene Carr, of Uintah; and Ronda Bishop, of Ogden. As well as her nephews, Quinn (Monica) Davis, of Santaquin; Rick Carr, of Harrisville; Trent Wilson, of Deep Water, Missouri; nieces, Shawna (Ryan) Reid, of South Weber; and Tori Davis, of Ogden.
Preceding her in death were her parents, and one son Brandon Wiseman.
Funeral services were held on Thursday, August 21, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. at Layton Hills Ward, Layton, Utah.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Humane Society.
