Shauna, born 1965 (deceased 1980)

Mark, born 1967- Double BS in Criminal Justice and Phsycology. Works in SLC as detective on a gang unit for Adult probation and Parole. Mark now works in Ogden City as Adult Probation and Parole Officer. He graduated from the Police Academy as well. Mark and Sheri have 5 children...3 girls and 2 boys.

Julie Ann, born 1970 - Associate degree in education from Weber State. Graduated from DATC as Dental Assistant. Works in Layton. Julie and Chris have 4 children 3 boys and 1 girl.

Teresa, born 1972 - works at IRS. Teresa and Jason have 2 children 1 girl and 1 boy.
Comments:

I am still married to Gene Ottesen. We have been married for 62 years and have 5 children and 15 grandchildren. We also have two great grandsons. So adorable. We love our family and friends and value life every day. We just can't believe we are this far along life's path. We feel very blessed and feel that life has been good through all the ups and downs.

Gene earned a BS degree in Social work. He worked at the County Clerks office for 26 years . He then attended the Police Acadamy and was an Adult Probation Officer for 20 years. He also belonged to the 19th Special Forces with the National Guard as a paratrooper for 40+ years.


I worked part time jobs, went back to school and was hired at McKay Dee Hospital where I worked for 20 years along with raising a family.

Of coarse we are both retired now as we watch our children going through the same thing.
We hope all is well with all of you class mates of '61.

Mike Stoddard...I just saw your message. I'm sorry I wasn't able to attend the dinner at Maddox or I would have loved to take your picture. I will take it another time. I'm not sure I will be at the Oaks because my granddaughter is getting married on the 25th and I might be helping her leave for her honeymoon. Anyway, one of these times we will meet again.
