Dean was born on the 1st of August 1943 a son of Frank R. Gilbert and Lois Geiger Gilbert.
He grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School and attended Weber State.
On May 11, 1962 he married the former Miss Marian Farr, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. Milton of Tremonton, formerly of West Wilson in a beautiful wedding ceremony in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Our classmate, Gary Breitweiser was best man at Dean’s wedding.
Surviving were his mother, wife, children and his siblings Carl, Debie, Cathy and Vicky.
