It pains me to think that Dina is not here with us. She has remained a great friend throughout my life, has kept in touch even though we haven't lived near one another, and her lovely, exciting, cheery personality has never changed. I miss her. The world seems diminished. But I have no doubt she is delighting family and friends where she is now.

John, it was good to have an update on your life and achievements. Kathy and I live in Midway, Utah, where we've been for 24 years. We're coming up on our 58th anniversary. We have two great grandsons, but not nearly so many grandchildren. We've served two missions now. I've had two back surgeries, so at least for now, I'm not playing golf. I've turned to photography (especially of birds) as a hobby, and we're still traveling quite a bit. I can't really say that I'm retired; I haven't escaped my writing habit just yet.
In any case, I enjoyed hearing about you. Happy birthday. The rest of us hit 80 before you. All in all, I'd rather not be so old, but then, I'm lucky to be in good health. (All my problems are orthopedic.) Best to you. We have some good memories.
